Our family loves Hillshire Farms products and right now, you can get awesome money saving coupons at Safeway to use on your favorite Hillshire Farms products.
We make quite a few meals using Hillshire Farm products and our favorite is biscuits and gravy using the Jimmy Dean Refrigerated Sausage, which you can buy right now with the $0.55/1 coupon. To make the gravy, all you do is crumble the sausage and cook until done, add 6 tablespoons of flour and mix well with the sausage.Gradually stir in 3 cups of milk and stir until mixture comes to a boil and thickens, Season with salt and pepper, serve over hot biscuits. Absolutely delicious and there is never any leftover in our house.
Ingredients:
Jimmy Dean Refrigerated Sausage (I use Country Mild, but you can use any flavor)
6 Tablespoons Flour
3 Cups Milk
Salt and Pepper to taste
With the holidays right around the corner, I prepare a lot of appetizers for get-to-gethers. The family favorite appetizer is sweet and savory lil smokies made with Hillshire Farms Lil Smokies which also has a $0.55/1 coupon right now too. I use several packages of lil smokies for this recipe as we are always feeding a crowd.
In slow cooker, add 3 packages of Hillshire Farms Lil Smokies, 1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce and 1 jar of Grape Jelly. Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours. Enjoy!!! The blend of spiciness of the BBQ sauce meshes really well with the sweetness of the grape jelly making an appetizer that will please all.
Ingredients:
Hillshire Farms Lil Smokies (I use 3 packages for a large gathering, but this works well with 1 too)
1 bottle of your favorite BBQ Sauce
1 jar of Grape Jelly (I use Welch's but any kind can be used)
