A Haunted House 2 Blu-ray Review

My Thoughts:

I was pretty excited when I was chosen for a review of A Haunted House 2 as we have seen the first one and though there were a few raunchy parts in it, for the most part, it was hilarious and my husband and I liked it very much.

A Haunted House 2 picks up where the first one left off, and has the same cast as before with the added bonus of a few more familiar faces. As we get into the movie, which is a parody of several different horror movies combined as was the first one, I was actually blown away at how raunchy Marlon Wayans is. With A Haunted House, I laughed throughout most of the movie, but with this one, I hardly laughed at all.

I didn't find any humor in what he was doing in a majority of the scenes, I was actually rather disgusted and very unsettled. Especially in the scenes that involved Abigail the doll!  I have a sick, twisted sense of humor, but this movie just took it way too far.

My husband posted this on his facebook as soon as we finished watching the movie:

A Haunted House 2--completely inappropriate. There were times when I wondered about Marlon Wayans' perversions. It was extremely disturbing. The beginning to the middle was sort of soft core fetish porn. I urge you to spend your money on something else.

Some of you may find this movie hilarious and that's great if you do, it just wasn't for us.
