Rand Brands Review

MnC Reviews was given a chance to product test something that I hold very dear to my interests. As most, if not all of you know, I am a Marine and have been out since 1995. In the time that I was in up until this very day, I have been a gun lover. I try to take care of my firearms as best that I can, because let's face it, one day we may need them for dire situations and we also use them to provide food for our families by hunting. Anyways, we were afforded a chance to try a product that I had never heard of before and throughout this review, you will understand why I have chosen to switch from my former brand to Rand Brands CLP.

Rand CLP packaged in a sealed bag with single use pouches.

That's right, we have product tested gun oil for firearms, but not just any gun oil, Rand Brands CLP is "cutting-edge nanotechnology products that are comprised of nanoparticles – each one measures 1/1000 of the width of an edge of paper. As a result, our RAND treatments have the ability to interact with metal in a completely unique way.".

I decided to test this product out on my Marlin 30.06 rifle because this is my rifle of choice for any style of long distance shooting and hunting.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the container and it didn't have that pungent cleaning smell. I couldn't understand why, because let's face it, it's a cleaning product for firearms. I found out that this is a "Vegetable Based" product, which means that it is safe for the environment and anyone that comes in contact with it.

As I conducted my research of Rand Brands CLP, I found that it also has a very high flash point, differing by almost 300 degrees. The Rand Brands CLP has a flashpoint of over 500 degrees which allows you to fire more without the possibility of your weapon "bursting into flames" and, if that wasn't enough, it also goes down to -50 degrees below 0.
I am applying the Rand Brands CLP to a cleaning cloth to give my rifle a good amount of lubrication.

The Rand Brands CLP is one of the thickest and slickest gun oil cleaners and lubricator that I have ever encountered. I like that because it means that I will be able to shoot for a longer duration and it also cuts my cleaning time in half.
The Carbon build-up just fell off when I was cleaning my bolt.

I compared it to my old style of cleaning lubricant and was just floored. In these pictures below, you can see how brand X just soaks through the cleaning cloth and has almost a watery base, which we all know, water on metal causes rust. However, when I added some Rand Brands CLP to a cleaning cloth to see this difference, the Rand Brands CLP just sat on top of the cleaning cloth with no drip or water base leaking through.

Rand Brands CLP on the left and my old lubricant on the right. Notice how the Rand Brand CLP is just sitting in that spot rather than leaking through like the Brand X cleaning lubricant.

Because of this and the no smell and the slickness, I am a Rand Brands man now. I will never clean any of my guns, rifles, etc... with anything other than Rand Brands CLP.

I urge each of you that see and read this review, if you have firearms and you love to hunt, or just shoot or are preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse, it will save you money to go out or online and pick up some Rand Brands CLP. It will keep your firearms in tip-top shape and keep you blasting through the night.
