Build A Bear My Little Pony Princess Twilight Sparkle Review

When you have 5 children like we do, you have a house over run with toys, especially stuffed animals of all shapes and sizes. They all have their most favorite that constantly sleeps with them or is always on their bed. Granted, these stuffed toys have all seen much better days as they are old and have really been put through the ringer by our children, but I just don't have it in me to get rid of them not matter how torn up they are. 

Recently, I was given the opportunity to review a stuffed toy from Build A Bear. I have heard so many great things about Build A Bear but honestly, even with 5 children, I have never been in one of their stores. Sad to say, I have never lived close enough to one, or even been shopping where there is one. 

Never fear though, as I learned that you can shop right on line and customize and build your very own right from the comforts of your home. For my review, I chose the True Friend My Little Pony Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Before I even get into discussing the My Little Pony Princess Twilight Sparkle, let me tell you how my package came. I was completely surprised at how much detail Build A Bear not only puts into their toys, but their packaging is amazing. 

Pictured are all 4 sides of the box. The scenes are very detailed and illustrated so well, my daughter was ready to grab the crayons and get to coloring. 

My Little Pony Princess Twilight Sparkle is absolutely beautiful. Build A Bear left no details undone with her, from the top of her head to the bottom of her shoes. Her colors are beautiful and vibrant, her stitching is the best I have ever seen on a stuffed toy, and her cape and crown are exceptional. Any princess would appreciate Princess Twilight Sparkle. 

I was really surprised with her weight as I am used to stuffed toys being flimsy and extremely lightweight. Not with Princess Twilight Sparkle. She stands nicely on her own. 

Let's not forget about her friend...Spike the Dragon. He is absolutely adorable too and has beautiful vibrant colors that match really well with Princess Twilight Sparkle. Though Spike isn't as big or as weighted as Princess Twilight Sparkle, don't let his size fool you. They make a great team!

Spike the Dragon is very well made too. His stitching is also impeccable and the kids love him. 

Build A Bear doesn't leave out anything, they even send you a Birth Certificate to personalize. I think this is wonderful as it makes the toy mean so much more to a child when they can name it and give it a birth date. I highly recommend framing it for your child to hang on their wall. 

After taking plenty of time to review Princess Twilight Sparkle and Spike the Dragon, I have to say, I am highly impressed with the quality of these toys. I have seen plenty of stuffed toys in my life and continue to see them at stores on a regular, but Build A Bear really takes the cake over all other stuffed animals. 

With 5 children, these 2 toys have really been put to the test in my house, and you know what, they still look as new as the day we took them out of the box. How many toys can you honestly say that about? In my household, none until Build A Bear. Usually within a week, we have some toy that has gotten a tear or a hole, but that hasn't been the case with Princess Twilight Sparkle or Spike the Dragon even after several weeks. My daughter laid claim to both of them as she is the princess of the house, but all of the children play with them.
