Snack Taxi Review

With 3 year old twin boys who are extremely active, I am always looking for products that they can carry their snacks around in. Plates and bowls just don't cut it when these two are running around because food is flying everywhere. I couldn't count how many times I have had to vacuum up goldfish crackers, popcorn or dry cereal.

The worst part about them constantly spilling their snacks is when we are taking a road trip. There is nothing worse than cleaning out the van to find crumbs in every crevice of your vehicle. Honestly, how does food get into every little crack in their seat under their boosters? Have you ever tried to vacuum every little piece out of a van? It's ridiculous...and very time consuming.

Have you heard of  snackTAXI? I had never heard of them until I was given the opportunity to review their products.

Our mission here at snackTAXI is to make high quality, affordable reusable bags that empower everyone to reduce waste, while embracing business practices that respect our community, environment, and Earth.

I invented the first snackTAXI way back in 2003 as a way to stem the tide of plastic ziplock bags that flowed from our house to the landfill when our 3 kids started school! We were packing over 500 lunches every year, and had definitely fallen prey to the easy appeal of the ziplock baggie.

snackTAXIs are easy too - really! They are made in our rural Massachusetts workshop by talented (and fun!) local sewers - we are committed to keeping our business local, and will never outsource our labor.

We hope you'll enjoy using snackTAXIs as much as we enjoy making them!

We received the Snack Sacks!

They are very handy and just the right size for our little ones hands. Measurements of the Snack Sacks are Dimensions: 6" W x 4.5" H.

No matter how much my boys run around, I don't have to worry about finding snacks all over the floor anymore. Not only do they hold the snacks in the bag, but it also has a great velcro strip that they can open and close very easily. These are perfect for road trips as well. Thanks to the Snack Sacks, I won't have to worry about snacks being all over the van anymore.

Did I mention, my boys love these?

They really do because now they have their very own little snack containers that can go anywhere with them. Definitely much better than trying to carry a little bowl around all day :)

snackTAXI has a nice assortment of products available other than the Snack Sacks...they also make Lunch Sacks, Sandwich Sacks, Bread Sacks, Produce Sacks, Aprons and more. They offer a huge variety of patterns for you to choose from and the prices are really great!

  1. I Love Snack Taxi sandwich bags. My first intro into leaving plastic behind (as much as possible)!
