Review: BSA Platinum 6-24x44 Rifle Scope

How many hunters or range dogs do we have? If you’re anything like me, getting away from life and engaging the wilderness by either hunting or just shooting your firearms, is a peace that many who do not hunt, will never know.

The crisp fall air blowing lightly through the trees; the brisk chill that runs down the back of your neck as you sit in your deer stand; the one time of year when men and women will leave at the crack of dawn and not return until after the cows have come home. This is the time of year when men are at their most quiet.

Did I hear some laughter from the women?

Men and women know all too well what these descriptions are, it is hunting season, and this is the time when it is man versus nature.

As we all know, the animals we hunt are in their habitat all year long and have learned how to adapt and survive the harshness of Mother Nature, but as each hunting season opens, many of these same animals have adapted to avoid the hunter. With a BSA Platinum Rifle Scope, your chances of bagging the big one have increased tremendously in your favor.

BSA Platinum Rifle Scope 15.80" in Length

Now let me tell you all about the BSA Platinum 6-24x44Rifle Scope. As a hunter and range shooter, I have used many scopes in my life and so far, I have not found a better more compatible scope for my rifle.

My Marlin 30.06 with my BSA Platinum Rifle Scope and 5" shade (which I customized with camo)

I have my BSA Platinum scope mounted on my Marlin 30.06 but, these scopes will work for many different types and models of rifles.

As a range hound, I went from each yard distance (25 Yds. 50 Yds. and 100 Yds.) to sight my scope for my eye, and found that adjusting for the different yards has never been so easy. It is a simple twist of the adjustable turret and I was hitting the bull’s-eye. This gave me great confidence of understanding that once I get out into the woods, there will definitely be meat on my families table for dinner.
